The Perfect Weekend
This year has been chaotic to say the least. With everything going on, I think everyone needs a little getaway. A weekend to just unwind and forget about the world for a little bit. Well that is exactly what we did! And best of all, we didn’t even have to travel far for the perfect little staycation at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota!
You know what I love most about staying at a Ritz Carlton property? The smell. Okay okay, before you judge me just listen. You have had a long travel day, you are exhausted, all you want to do is fall into the comfy hotel bed, but then you walk through the door… Instantly you are greeted by the elegant decor, the friendly staff, and the clean royal smell of a Ritz Carlton. If you have stayed at one of the properties, I GUARANTEE you know exactly what I am talking about.

What I am going to do is tell you about my little tropical escape!
Picture this, you wake up in the morning. Throw on that comfy morning robe and stat your day with some bubbly on your balcony. As you sip your mimosa and overlook the gorgeous Sarasota Bay, you enjoy a little room service breakfast.

You then make your way to the Beach Club where you will spend your day under the shade of the endless palms while you listen to those crystal blue ocean waves crash. All you need to worry about is your next Pina colada and what tasty item you are going to pick from the Beach Club menu.
At the end of you ultimate day, you make your way over to the beachside Tiki Bar for a Coconut Margarita (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!). As you sip your yummy tequila and coconut concoction, you watch the sun set and the sky explode into a million colors. There really is nothing quite like a Florida sunset after all.
You hop back on that hotel shuttle and arrive at the Ritz Carlton property. After a refreshing shower to wash off all that salt and sand from your beautiful beach day, you head down to dinner at the iconic Jack Dustys. You eat your way through the mind blowing seafood selection and end the night with a little something sweet.
