Summer in Austria really is one of a kind. I don't know if is the fresh air and blue skies or the epic sunsets and cool nights. There is just something special about summertime in the mountains. But what I really love about these summers are the views. Don't get me wrong, I am a huuuuge fan of the winter wonderlands, but summer brings out those crazy blue and green tones that make the mountains look like they are so alive. And because I live for finding the best spots, those spots that Apple makes into screen-savors for your laptop, I had created a little cheat sheet for you. Not to mention I've added the exact GPS locations too, as a little added bonus!

So this spot is pretty much amazing year-round! Most of my family lives in the area around this gorgeous lake so I guess you could say I have definitely had some time to find my favorite spots. But if you want to branch out and do some exploring, just grab your camera and take a walk around the lake, there will be picture spots everywhere you look.

This one is great for a bunch of different spots! Not only does this mountain have a great lake that will make any picture pop, it also has a brewery and an awesome mountain bar called the Hendl Fischerei. Definitely picture perfect! And if you feel like taking the view to the next level, hike all the way to the tip top of the mountain for a panorama of the mountains. It is unlike anything I have ever seen before.

Okay so I usually avoid mentioning hotels as location/ picture spots but this one was just too stunning to not add to the list. Not only does this hotel have the perfect combination of traditional Austrian design and modern accents, but it also has a view that will take your breath away. Oh, and did I mention the pool? If you are looking to enjoy epic views all day long and stay somewhere amazing, this is the place for you!

As far as my favorite picture spots go, head all the way to the top. Endless views, icy blue glacier water, and snow-covered mountain tops. What more do you need?

Last but not least, sunset views! So personally, I am all about watching sunsets from unique locations. If it involves a rooftop, I am definitely there. That's why I love the adorable rooftop spot at the Hotel Die Hindenburg. It shows off the mountains, the town, and all of the epic colors of a sunset in the mountains.
