Dominican Getaway

Laying by the pool, watching the palm trees sway, sipping on a cool tropical drink. You lose track of time as you explore the island in the sunshine and dance your heart out until the night is gone. Vacations like these aren't just found in movies, they are found in the Dominican Republic.

About a year ago, my friends and I decided to take a little girls trip. After lots of back and forth we finally decided on the Dominican and thank god we did! From the second we arrived at Barcelo Bavaro Resort our dream vacation began.
The resort arranged for a pick up at the airport so right from the start everything was very stress free. When we arrived we were greeted by welcome drinks and a speedy check in. They arranged to take our bags to our suite while we explored the giant resort. This all inclusive paradise resort is filled with gyms, restaurants and shops, discos, and best of all, swim up bars.

The next day, the resort activities service arranged all of our excursions for us. We booked a booze cruise, a shark and singray snorkeling trip, and a night out at a cave disco. The great thing about Barcelo Bavaro is that they take care of everything. All you have to do is show up and enjoy. In between excursions we spent every free second either on the amazing resort beach or in the all you can eat buffet.
